Essential Functions:

The Sales Manager is responsible for overall unit sales in the department. They are required to planning, organize and lead the activities of the department and manage the performance of the Team Members in the department.

  • Lead all Sales department Team Members to achieve sales goals, as well as monitor their performance in servicing Guests.
  • Achieve sales goals and objectives for the department based on forecast supplied by Senior Leadership.
  • Provide training on Sales techniques and practices. Ensure Team Members are well-trained in administrative policies and procedures for all department.
  • Maintain the highest Guest Service Index (GSI) rating from Guests by handling Guest complaints immediately and according to dealership policy and Company Core Values.
  • Sell Finance (F & I) products to Guests to ensure a positive Guest experience.
  • Prepare all reports regarding Sales department, ensuring reports are error free. This includes reports required to be submitted on a set schedule (i.e. daily pace report) as well as any additional reporting that may be requested by Senior Management.
  • Greet Guests in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Interact professionally daily with Guests on a face-to-face basis as well as via phone and email.
  • Oversee follow-up with Guests including the status of their purchase.
  • Gain superior product knowledge of products to effectively train and assist Adventure Advisors.
  • Assist all Team Members in following established Company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee that every Guest unit is quality controlled before it is transported off the dealership lot.
  • Control unit inventory: First in, first out.
  • Responsible for ensuring all units are locked and secured at the end of each workday.
  • Facilitate the operations of an efficient and effective dealership, while continuing to build a strong Guest relationship base.


Qualifications

  • Previous RV industry experience, a plus
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience as a dealership Sales Manager, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience leading others, preferred.
  • Exceptional GSI
  • Finance (F&I) experience a plus.
  • CDK experience a plus
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles.
