New England Kenworth is looking for a Heavy-Duty Truck Salesperson to join our growing team.
This position is based out of our Concord, NH location and will require travel to and from customer locations in an assigned territory as well as other traveling for training or team events. The right candidate will possess a positive and professional attitude, excellent communication skills, a persistent personality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Secures new and used truck sales orders, locates new prospects and determines prospects’ needs, plans sales calls, makes product presentations, points out the benefits of equipment, and emphasizes the advantages of dealing with NEKW
- Helps customers solve problems, provides technical assistance as needed, and keeps customers up-to-date on new developments.
- Prospecting for new and used truck customers and pursuing sales opportunity leads
- Developing sales strategies to penetrate critical key accounts, work directly with Truck Sales Manager to increase profitability and market share
- Keeps familiar with new products developed by the factory and by the competition, and keeps NEKW informed of changes which can affect his/her performance.
- Promotes the NEKW Parts and Service departments within his/her territory to increase the company’s success
- Maintains a high degree of sales professionalism through study and attendance at meetings and association activities where improvement programs are offered.
- Responsible for correctly delivering the equipment and meeting all of the conditions of the sale.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager
QUALIFICATIONS: This individual with have strong skills in the following areas:
- Communication
- Customer care
- Organization
- Computers
- All areas of medium and heavy-duty truck specifications and applications.
- The employee must maintain valid CDL (A or B) driver’s license, and medical card.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,949.00 - $83,414.00 per year
