Personal Lines CSR/Account Manager
We are a collaborative, forward-thinking agency, searching for an enthusiastic, results-oriented person to join our team. We believe relationships matter and our goal is to provide a high-quality level of service to both clients and prospects.
This is a hybrid position in the Los Angeles area.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding and prompt support to all customers and prospects.
- Ability and willingness to write new business from warm leads.
- Service a book of business by renewing, rewriting and cross selling additional policies.
- Efficiently and effectively manage and resolve problems with a sense of urgency.
- Be very clear and concise in both spoken and written communication.
- Document communication and information in Agency Management System.
- Stay informed and educated within the personal lines insurance market; including carrier coverages, exclusions, and ability to know what carriers to use in hard to place markets.
- Proactively reach out to customers to finalize sales and round out accounts.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities you bring to the position
- Active California Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License
- 3+ years personal lines customer service experience in retention, rounding accounts, rewriting and writing new business.
- Accurate and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- A team player with a do what it takes work ethic.
- Interpersonally skillful with the ability to assess and deescalate problems in real time.
- Experience servicing and selling insurance with multiple carriers.
- Ability to easily adapt to multiple systems.
