Job Description

Our client is a company that specializes in manufacturing and supplying windows and doors for residential and commercial construction. They offer a variety of products, including vinyl windows, fiberglass doors, and aluminum windows, designed to enhance energy efficiency, aesthetics, and durability. Their offerings typically cater to builders, contractors, and homeowners looking for quality window and door solutions. The company may also provide customization options to meet specific design and functional requirements.

Position Overview:

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 4 Sales Representatives, including 3 outside sales and 1 inside sales. You will play a crucial role in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing the sales team, while providing coaching and leadership to ensure they meet and exceed their annual sales targets, currently set at over $10 million.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

- Sales Strategy: Drive the sales team towards achieving annual revenue targets through effective planning, execution, and performance management.

- Hiring & Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process, ensure the selection of top talent, and oversee the onboarding and training of new team members.

- Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

- Client Engagement: Act as the face of the sales team in Winnipeg, representing the company in major account calls with builders, general contractors, and developers as needed.

- Market Oversight: Manage all revenue channels for Winnipeg and Manitoba, ensuring a strategic approach to both the Winnipeg market (90%) and surrounding satellite towns (10%).

- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction or related industry.

- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating sales teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000, depending on experience.

- Performance-based bonus structure.

- Company car and gas card.

- Comprehensive health benefits package.

- 3 weeks of vacation, plus a company-wide shutdown during the Christmas week, adding an additional week of vacation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
