Job Description
Reporting to the management, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to:
- Develop sales strategies and tactics that align and support the hotel's Business Travel, Consortia, Tour and Wholesale market segments
- Proactively prospect, solicit and drive revenues in the Business Travel, Consortia, Tour and Wholesale market segments.
- Build awareness and secure business through relationship building, sales calls, presentations, client entertainment, networking, travel, and event attendance.
- Negotiate RFP's and contracts.
- Takes an active role with respect to in-market sales activities both on and off-property.
- Identify opportunities to increase on-going and additional revenue streams.
- Work in collaboration with the management to identify and develop initiatives for your respective markets.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of the annual sales and marketing plan
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay

- Kamloops, BC V2C 1K7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
