Automotive Sales Consultant

As a Sales Consultant at our dealership, you'll be responsible for managing all sales activities. From generating and managing sales leads, you'll be instrumental in helping our team continue our success.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers on the sales floor and performs a needs analysis, including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
- Contact customers online and over the telephone to perform a need analysis, including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
- Explain features and demonstrate the vehicle's operation in the showroom or on the road.
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment using a computer database.
- Works with Sales Managers and Finance Managers to negotiates sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, discount, and requirements for financing or lease payment of the vehicle.
- Walk the lot and visually inspect inventory.
- Completes all paperwork and arranges for delivery and registration of the vehicle.
- Delivers and familiarizes the customer with the vehicle.
- Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
Job Requirements
- Sales skills, great communication, excellent customer service skills, and a positive can-do attitude.
- Organization and thorough follow-up skills are necessary for staying in touch with the client before and after the sale.
- A current valid driver's license is required for all employees.
