Job Summary:
The Partnership Sales Representative for Hartford Athletic will be responsible for driving revenue through the sale of corporate Partnerships, partnerships, and branding opportunities. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing relationships with local and national businesses, securing Partnership agreements that align with Hartford Athletic's brand and values. The Sales Representative will be expected to develop innovative Partnership packages, deliver tailored proposals, and ensure each partner receives a measurable return on investment, contributing to the overall growth of the team and its connection with the community.
The Partnership Sales Representative for Hartford Athletic will be responsible for driving revenue through the sale of corporate Partnerships, partnerships, and branding opportunities. This role focuses on establishing and nurturing relationships with local and national businesses, securing Partnership agreements that align with Hartford Athletic's brand and values. The Sales Representative will be expected to develop innovative Partnership packages, deliver tailored proposals, and ensure each partner receives a measurable return on investment, contributing to the overall growth of the team and its connection with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by selling Partnerships, in-stadium branding, digital and social media assets, and other advertising opportunities.
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively identify potential sponsors, qualifying leads through research, networking events, referrals, and outreach efforts to expand the partnership portfolio.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners, understanding their marketing objectives to create Partnership packages that deliver unique value and engagement.
- Proposal Development: Work with the marketing and creative teams to develop customized Partnership proposals, detailing activations, branding opportunities, and ROI metrics to meet clients’ objectives.
- Event & Game-Day Engagement: Represent Hartford Athletic at games, promotional events, and community initiatives to engage with sponsors, ensuring fulfillment of partnership commitments and exceptional game-day experiences.
- Contract Management & Reporting: Negotiate contract terms, ensuring clarity in deliverables, activation rights, and pricing; track all partnership activities, activations, and deliverables in CRM and provide periodic reports to sponsors.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with the ticketing, marketing, and game-day operations teams to ensure smooth integration of Partnership elements into the fan experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in sales, Partnership, or partnership sales, ideally within the sports, media, or entertainment industries.
Skills:- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Creativity and strategic thinking to develop unique Partnership packages
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for games and events
