About the Job
Full-time, Montreal (On-Site)
The Partnerships Manager is a key role that oversees partner relationships and supports the day-to-day activities and projects of strategic partners. By meticulously onboarding new partners and collaborating with the team to kick off and execute projects across various territories, they will have a direct impact on operations and sales. This role demands a proactive, strategic thinker with a knack for fostering strong relationships and driving sales through partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Onboarding and Management: Facilitate the onboarding process for new partners, overseeing the timeline and managing expectations to ensure a successful partnership.
- Sales Enablement and Training: Conduct comprehensive sales training sessions with partner sales teams, equipping them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and strategies to effectively sell and represent our products.
- Product and Content Management: Oversee the management of SKU and retail registries and ensure our website & partners website accurately reflects current offerings, facilitating easy access and information accuracy for customers and partners alike.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a linchpin for communication across departments (ie. sales, marketing, design, logistics), identifying and coordinating on key external projects to ensure seamless execution and alignment with our strategic goals.
- Sales Acceleration: Empower key partners by providing them with the support and resources needed to achieve and exceed month-over-month sales growth targets.
- Strategic Territory Development: Collaborate closely with the Director of Strategy and Head of Business Development to maximize market penetration and growth opportunities.
Challenges

- Stay on top of product updates and ensure all partner teams are fully trained and aligned with our sales strategies.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication between all stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative environment.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience in the cannabis industry
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in account management is required
- Experience in project management and website management is an asset
- Startup experience is an asset
Skills & Qualities
- Fluent English is required, French is an asset
- Technically proficient in G-suite applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Comfortable pitching and presenting in front of groups
- Effective written communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
