Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our sales operations for a thriving production homebuilder based in Orlando, Florida. The GSM will oversee the entire sales process, develop strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals, and mentor a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in residential construction sales, team leadership, and strategic planning, combined with a deep understanding of the Orlando market.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of Sales Consultants, Sales Assistants, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, motivation, and accountability within the sales team.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align campaigns with sales initiatives and drive traffic to model homes.
- Ensure effective management of the sales funnel, from lead generation to contract closure.
Customer Experience:
- Uphold a customer-first philosophy, ensuring exceptional service throughout the home-buying process.
- Address escalated customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Operational Oversight:
- Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
- Partner with construction, design, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of homes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
Market Expertise:
- Stay informed about the Orlando real estate market, including housing trends, pricing, and consumer preferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including real estate agents and community partners.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of sales leadership experience in the homebuilding or real estate industry.
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Deep knowledge of the Orlando housing market and its unique characteristics.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
