POSITION IS ONSITE IN NASHVILLE-LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
In the Freight Coordinator role you will
- Oversee the brokering of shipments procured by Freight Operations Customers. Maintain scheduled appointments integrity.
- Responsible for tracking dispatched loads from start to finish
- Provide updates to Account Manager to pass on to customers, including pickup/delivery ETA’s and any delays or breakdowns
- Perform several daily check calls to TSH drivers in the area for not only that day, but several days out – updating the transportation management system.
- Search for new opportunities for customers, drivers, agents, and brokers.
- Responsible for staying on top of posting any freight that cannot be brokered out so TSH drivers have visibility on it.
- Reiterate any pertinent messages from Safety to drivers when speaking to them
- Coach drivers on available freight opportunities and running patterns to help them achieve maximum profitability
- Managing customer’s relationships i.e. consulting when our drivers have service failures, consulting when customers have failures and detention time or layover pay is needed.
