Job Description

Essential duties:

Attend training on products and services; attend sales meetings and other company meetings

Meet or exceed sales budget

Speak to customers in the office, on the phone that reception cannot assist

Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

Determine, design and recommend the best HVAC systems and products for customers’ needs and interests.

Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

Provide customers with product choices, brochures, financing, equipment cost, analysis and comparisons.

Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Complete a heat load for each customer

Complete paperwork as required by company policy by preparing drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.

Negotiate details of contracts and payments, and prepare sales contracts and order forms.

Obtain credit information about prospective customers

Meet the customer at the beginning of the jobs

Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.

Complete all manufacturer program paperwork

Arrange and direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.

Meet the customer and go through system operations at the end of jobs

Ensure that all paperwork is complete so jobs can be billed (commercial)

Collect for the jobs (residential)

Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.

Perform administrative duties, such as submitting sales quotes, and invoices, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

Involvement in the community to a potential sales exposure.

Other tasks as requested by the Sales manager, Operations Manager, and CEO

Pay: $50,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Consumer or retail sales: 5 years (Required)
