Responsibilities
- Generate appointments through prospecting and lead management, both through email and/or on the phone.
- Answer questions about new cars, used cars, vehicle performance, applications processes and consult the sales manager as needed
- Communicate with customers throughout the entire shopping experience, focusing on strong follow-up and ensuring all questions are answered
- Employ strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport when assisting potential customers with their vehicle selections
- Maintain product knowledge through regular training both online and in a classroom setting
- Present used and new cars through test drives, demonstrations, and dealership walk-throughs
Requirements
- Strong desire to succeed - hustler mentality
- Positive attitude
- Stellar communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, and interpersonal skills are all crucial for meeting customer needs
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record
- Prior sales experience in a dealership or showroom setting a plus
- Six months or more of car selling experience is preferred but not required
- Able to prioritize and stay organized with strong time management skills
- Being bilingual is a plus
