The Business Development Manager - Canada role is new to Estate Research. This role has been created due to the expansion of the Private Client department within Canada. As the BD Manager for Canada, you will work as part of our Business Development Team and engage with new, current, and long-term clients to build solid working relationships as well as plan, prepare, attend, and eventually host meetings, conferences, events, and webinars.
You will serve as the main point of contact to ensure our clients are satisfied with our services and will work collaboratively with the Private Client Department. To be our new BD Manager you must be knowledgeable about Estate Research Private Client services, as well as a knowledge &/or experience of Probate Law and or legal services & you must be highly organised, have an eye for detail & be able to confidentiality & professionally communicate with Heads of Department/decision makers.
As outlined above this is a new role so we anticipate the responsibilities & duties will evolve, however, we have outlined below the top tasks we believe you will be responsible for:
Ø Shadowing & supporting the existing business development team members.
Ø Manage a list of existing clients, whilst achieving realistic targets to cultivate new clients.
Ø Liaising between our Quotes Team & your clients to make sure enquiries are handled promptly, thoroughly whilst ensuring we deliver excellent client care to our customers always.
Ø Attend meeting in person, via zoom, or over the phone to make sure your clients know all the services available to them, including providing advise & guidance on how to get the best for their clients.
Ø Distribute our high-quality marketing materials to new & existing clients, as well as being involved in the preparation of marketing campaigns as & when required.
Ø Initially assist with the planning & preparation of conferences and events.
Ø Attend conferences, events, & webinars with a view of having an active role in the planning & execution of these events.
Ø Maintain a case management system to make sure all client interactions are logged.
Other:
As part of this role, you must be able to travel and stay away overnight.
Ø Travel would include all parts of Canada and possible further international travel.
Ø To undertake any ad hoc duties for the MD, Heads of Department or HR
Ø To observe and comply with all our company policies & procedures always.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $64,310.00-$73,263.00 per year
