Receiving Associate

We are searching for high-energy Receiving Associates who are passionate about exceeding client expectations, can receive, inspect, and record shipments of incoming products as well as unloading packages. Check package contents to ensure they are accurately received and in acceptable, quality condition.
Some of the things you’ll be doing…
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks
- Inspect packages to ensure they are in acceptable quality condition
- Verify packages according to purchase orders to ensure part numbers and quantities match
- Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate Buyers for product returns
- Utilize cell phones, RF scanners, and other technology necessary to process inbound shipments, including sending photos and emails to the account management team
- Label all packages and allocate them to their designated warehouse locations
- Ensure all aisles and docks are kept clear
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company procedures and safety regulations
- Ensure all incoming orders are verified and counted within a 48-hour time frame
- React accordingly to rush incoming orders
