Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator is a detail-oriented person that is responsible for providing sales and administrative support for the Director of Sales, Walmart Canada.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a support resource for the Director of Sales
- New Item Setup, Manage & Maintain information on Retail Link
- Collects, analyzes and communicates weekly, monthly and quarterly sales data.
- Manage Walmart.ca – Monitor inventory levels and recommend orders, ensure accuracy of product content, drive sales growth with the addition of exclusive and new items
- Collaborate with photo studio on shot list for upcoming season to ensure imagery is available and submitted prior to inventory arrival
- Assists with preparation for account meetings and as needed, participates in account presentation and sell-in.
- Work cross functionally with multiple internal teams, including Planning, Replenishment, and Merchandising & Operations
- Additional support functions and special projects as defined by the Director.
Experience
- Years of Related Professional Experience: 3 – 5 years
- Related Work Experience which may include: BI Analyst, Sales Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, or POS (Point of Sale) Analyst
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Skills
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Power Point, website navigation
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive personality and ability to think strategically
- Strong understanding of retail math
