WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Regional Sales Manager oversees a number of Full Line Sales Specialists, a Regional Inside Sales Person and a Regional Injector Specialist to manage and focus the team to achieve the quarterly and annual goals for the region. The Regional Sales Manager also works in conjunction with the National Account Manager to drive sales compliance with IDNs and National GPO members and affiliates within the Region.
YOUR ROLE
Lead and direct team of Full Line Sales Specialists to promote Guerbet products to targeted academic centers, IDN’s, and key accounts to achieve or exceed specific sales goals in their assigned geographic areas
Develops and implements sales strategic plan (short, mid and long term range) .Participate in the formulation of regional sales strategies, interpret strategies and apply to issues within the geographic area
Manages the sales force on the territory to reach the company goals to ensure profitability of the operations
Informs the company and team about market trends and is responsible for the new launch of strategic plan
Defines market and customer approach (portfolio follow up, sales opportunities, targeting on strategic areas, …) and recommends product positioning and pricing strategy with marketing guidance
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities on the field and gives input to the marketing team
Establishes, builds, and maintains relationships and regular communications with physicians and key opinion leaders as well as key strategic partners
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
YOUR BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s degree required, MS or MBA degree preferred
Registered Technologists with MR, CT Registry a plus [RT (R) (MR) (CT)]
Minimum of 5-7 years Diagnostic Imaging Sales experience in Contrast Media or Diagnostic Imaging medical devices
Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical and /or medical devices, diagnostic imaging sales management experience; management of a specialty pharmaceutical sales team or hospital sales team is preferred
Strong knowledge of MR, CT, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, Healthcare IT a plus
Strong track record of sales successes in a hospital environment with complex sales environment experience
Strategic selling ability, Miller Heiman Sales Methodologies preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Travel 50-75%
