Job Title: Vice President, Talent Acquisition

Job Summary:
As the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for developing and executing LaserAway's talent acquisition strategy to meet the company's evolving staffing needs and support our rapid growth. You will lead a team of recruitment professionals to source, attract, and hire top-tier talent across various functional areas and geographic locations. This role reports directly to the VP, Human Resources and collaborates closely with senior leadership to align recruitment initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement LaserAway's talent acquisition strategy in alignment with organizational goals and growth plans.
Lead and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive results.
Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, establish recruitment priorities, and define job requirements.
Create a strong partnership with the sales leadership team to ensure we have created competency based job descriptions for all sales positions and build a strong pipeline of candidates for rapidly growing markets.
Leverage data and analytics to track recruitment metrics, measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, and continuously optimize recruitment processes.
Utilize innovative sourcing techniques and recruitment channels to attract diverse talent pools, including passive candidates, referrals, and networking events.
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Implement best practices for candidate assessment, including behavioral interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks, to identify top candidates who align with LaserAway's culture and values.
Collaborate with the HR team to enhance employer branding initiatives, including social media presence, employer review sites, and recruitment marketing campaigns.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform recruitment strategies and maintain LaserAway's competitive edge in the talent market.
Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, such as recruitment agencies, universities, and industry associations, to expand LaserAway's talent network and enhance recruitment capabilities.
Manage the partnerships with Talent Acquisition vendors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field;
8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on sales, retail, or consumer services industries preferred.
Demonstrated success leading high-volume recruitment efforts and managing a team of recruitment professionals.
Proven track record of developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that support organizational growth and business objectives.
Strong analytical skills to communicate our talent acquisition through metrics.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates, hiring managers, and senior leaders.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve complex recruitment challenges.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment technology platforms.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
