Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, and results oriented Inside Sales Lead to oversee and drive the renewal of software maintenance agreements. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining revenue from recurring agreements, and growing retention metrics. As the Inside Sales Lead, you will proactively engage with clients to communicate value, and work closely with account managers and support to ensure smooth renewals. This position is ideal for a sales professional with experience in perpetual software renewals as well as subscription-based services, a strong customer focus, and a drive to achieve high renewal rates.
Job Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Through Renewals: Develop strategies to maximize renewals and reduce churn. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities during the renewal process to expand customer engagement.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships by engaging with decision-makers to communicate the ongoing value of the software maintenance agreements.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with account managers and support teams to address customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless renewal experience.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Track renewal metrics, forecast renewal revenue, and analyze customer data to identify trends and insights. Present findings to senior management and recommend improvements to the renewal process.
Process Optimization: Continuously improve the renewal process by implementing best practices, streamlining workflows, and adopting tools or systems that enhance productivity
Product Knowledge and Training: Stay updated on product developments, software upgrades, and industry trends. Provide regular training to the renewals team to enhance their knowledge and customer interactions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably within software or technology sectors
Wish list would be a candidate that has VGStudioMax software experience
Proven track record in managing renewals or subscription-based sales with high customer retention rates
Strong leadership skills while working a collaborative environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficient in CRM and sales tracking tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting, data analysis, and KPI tracking
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
U.S. Citizenship required.
