Job Description

Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals Inc is seeking a highly-motivated individual for the Account Manager position, for our professional division.

In this role, you will develop a strong relationship with existing accounts and develop the territory by creating new business by seeking prospective customers. The successful candidate will be calling on licensed healthcare practitioners, conducting regular sales calls, and meeting with existing and prospective accounts. The successful candidates will be a residents of one of the following areas: Golden Hoseshoe, Hamilton Kitchener/Waterloo area.

Scope of Work:

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals for your specific territory by establishing strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals (Naturopathic Doctors, Nutritionists, Nurses, Veterinary Doctors (DVM), and Veterinary Technicians to promote ASL and AVS products.
  • Build a high level of product knowledge to effectively sell assigned products
  • Use promotional materials during sales presentations to strengthen product knowledge
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on healthcare professionals in their place of business
  • Attend and actively participate in sales and training meetings.
  • Submit territory reports to Head Office on a monthly basis

Requirements for This Position:

  • Science background (BSc, MSc, or MScN) with nutrition or health science focus or naturopathic training (ND)
  • Previous sales or related experience is an asset however the training will be provided.
  • Passion to learn about and be part of a fast-growing evidence-based professional dietary supplement industry.
  • Independent, self-motivated individual able to set targets and achieve sales goals
  • Well organized and responsible for managing own travel itinerary and expense account.
  • A keen interest in people, and exceptional customer service, including strong negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Team player
  • Respect for company policy, regulations and values.
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle and ability to allocate time for travelling for customer’s visit
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time, 1-year contract with possibility of Full-time, after 12 months of employment

Pay: Base Salary + Bonus

Experience: Work in the Natural Health industry and Sales experience is an asset

Location: Golden Horseshoe, Hamilton area, Kitchener/Waterloo area (Required)
