Job Purpose:
The Sales Manager is a Senior member of the team required to achieve targets, develop effective strategies, provide training, monitor performance, motivate team members, analyze sales data, and build and foster relationships to drive revenue growth and maintain competitiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing strategies to increase sales revenue, penetrate new markets, and expand the customer base.
- Build and Motivate the Sales Team: Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team to achieve targets. Motivating team members, providing coaching and training, and fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Sales Forecasting and Planning: Maintain and report the Sales Pipeline. Analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to forecast future sales performance and develop sales plans and budgets accordingly.
- Monitoring Sales Performance: Tracking sales metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and pipeline activity Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Customer Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Must understand and present the Services and the Value Proposition that Axiom provides throughout Canada to new customers .
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a coordinated approach to customer engagement.
- Digital Marketing: Develop and monitor the digital marketing and social media strategies
- Trade Shows: Attend relevant Trade shows and conferences as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or recognized technical college degree in business or marketing is an asset
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Relationship and account management experience - the ability to open doors and build key relationships.
- Able to engage and communicate effectively at different levels of seniority.
- 5 Years of proven B2B sales with increasing responsibility
- Ability to travel within North America
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
