Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Catering Sales Lead to join our team. The Catering Sales Lead will play a crucial role in driving catering sales for our bakery, generating leads through both warm and cold outreach, and fostering relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, driven, and passionate about food, with a deep understanding of catering sales and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue catering sales leads through various channels, including networking events, cold calls, and online research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized catering solutions.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve catering revenue targets, including setting goals, forecasting sales, and analyzing market trends.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present proposals and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and ensuring all details are accurately documented.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the bakery team to coordinate catering orders, ensuring seamless execution of events and exceptional customer experiences.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and promotions to drive catering sales, including participating in promotional events and initiatives.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track catering sales performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in catering sales, continuously seeking opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in catering sales, with a track record of achieving sales targets and generating leads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for food and hospitality, with a deep understanding of culinary concepts and catering best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
