Position Focus:
Identity and Access Management (IAM): With knowledge of IAM concepts, this position supports user account management, group membership, and permission management.
Endpoint support: The role involves designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining the organization’s endpoints, encompassing both hardware and software. Responsibilities include updating documentation, providing end-user support, and implementing solutions for managed endpoints, ensuring secure management of all devices like desktops and laptops.
Application Support: Supports learning management systems through application evaluation, deployment, and maintenance, providing expert assistance to faculty, staff, and students. The individual will lead IT projects with minimal supervision, offering project consultation and recommendations, and facilitating the adoption of new technologies.
The Systems Engineer 1 will participate in assigned projects.
1. Participate in the build, configuration, and documentation of IT infrastructure.
2. Maintain and support IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to standards and service level objectives.
3. Perform defined processes and practices to support the network and ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet business needs.
4. Provide user support and troubleshooting through established protocol; escalate as necessary.
5. Contribute to documentation of incidents, internal processes, and procedures.
