Job Description
Provides advice, sells/leases new and previously used cars, based on standards of gross profit, volume and the satisfaction of dealership clientele.
Multilingualism is an asset (Tagalog speaking is an ASSET)
The MAJOR TASKSare listed below, but the incumbent may be assigned to other duties.
- Welcomes customers, establish and nurture relationships with past customers and potential customers to facilitate sales
- Recommend and select products for customers based on their individual needs
- Describe products and explain their benefits and uses to potential customers
- Offer to road test for any potential customer at their convenience and follow dealership general procedure before go on a road test
- In professional manners, explain terms and conditions governing long-term leases, as compared to traditional purchase arrangements, based on customer needs.
- Obtain required information and completes all documents required to prepare for a sale.
- Use data to help customers understand how products can help them achieve their goals
- Negotiate price and ensure transaction approved by the sales manager.
- Notify sales manager in the case of an exchange or refund or when credit note is drawn up
- Forward 100 percent completed transactions to the marketing director, together with all the duly completed documentation (insurance information, the title for the transaction, etc.).
- Adequately prepare and provide customers with information, in order to take maximum advantage of meetings with the marketing director
- Define and keep track of personal sales objectives and approved by management
- Keep up-to-date on novelties with regard to products, features, accessories, etc. and their advantages for the customer
- Know and understand all federal and provincial laws and municipal bylaws regulation related to retail automobile sales
- Take part in training courses on products and sales as instructed by the sales manager.
Delivery-related tasks
- Verify and prepare necessaries for all sold cars before customer’s arrival
- Ensure customer understand functional features, warranty and the documents to be completed when deliveries
- Introduce customers the After-Sales Department Personnel and highlight the quality and efficiency of the repair and maintenance service by the dealership
- Arrange first check-up appointment with the After-Sales Department
- Follow up on accessories, documents or other special requests promised to meet customer’s expectation after deliveries
Tasks related to follow-up and prospecting
- Contacts customers within 48 hours of the sale to ensure their satisfaction
- Perform follow-up to customers who did not make a purchase within 24 hours of their visit
- Seizes business opportunities. Solicits and searches for new customers, on a regular basis, making maximum use of various prospecting tools.
- Ensure to use dealership’s customer follow-up system
- Ensure to use dealership’s customer development system.
- Upon request of his/her supervisor, takes part in social or business activities.
Miscellaneous tasks
- Upon request, participates in the car inspection and preparation process and/or refurbishes the cars
- Cooperates in keeping the show room and/or the previously used car department clean and tidy
- Helps display vehicles in the show room and the parking lots for new and previously used vehicles
- Act as mentor to new representatives
- Take part in sales team meetings
- Maintain professional appearance
- Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (required)
Experience:
- Automotive Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Dealership: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- OMVIC License (preferred)
- Class G Licence (required)
