Job Summary
The Material Handling Account Manager position entails providing information about Scrap Handling, Sawmill, Waste Management and Tree Care market segments to customers to increase sales and to develop or maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers. The Material Handling Account Manager oversees the account and works closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop sales programs and strategies to attain annual budget targets.
Job Outline:
- Initiating and leveraging sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers while developing and maintaining large accounts assigned by Head Office.
- Oversees the account and collaborates with the COO to facilitate complete Nors offering.
- Uphold Nors values and expectations throughout sales process.
- Understand product offering, competition and market information.
- Attain short and long-term objectives through good management and planning.
- Understand and comply with Nors safety program.
- Effectively communicate and build positive relationship with all departments and levels within the company.
- Promote positive and professional relationship image.
Roles and Expectations:
- Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships

- Seek out and attend necessary trades show, industry events and conferences
Experience Required:
- Minimum 2/3 years of corporate purchasing knowledge and expertise.
- Proven historical sales and revenue generating success.
- Ability to prepare and deliver efficient customized sales proposals and presentations to professionals at all levels.
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills both in one-on-one and group settings.
- Proficient with computer technology.
Education Required:
- Post secondary education or equivalent work experience.
