As a pre-sales engineer, you will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to our customers during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to support our sales efforts through understanding customer pain-points and proposing customized solutions that demonstrate the functional capabilities of iQ software.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves the following responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert and be responsible for providing pre-sales technical and functional support to clients during the pre-sales process.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our software solution and be able to communicate technical concepts to potential customers in a clear and understandable manner.
- Leads pre-sale discussions to identify customer requirements surrounding ERP software and solutions.
- Present the business value of software’s applications and demonstrate a deep familiarity with client direction, product roadmap and industry presence.
- Work cross-functionally with the sales, project management and delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and deliver proof of concepts that will establish how our solutions will address the customer’s pain-points, ultimately, translating your technical capabilities into business solutions.
- Follow up promptly on technical queries, ensuring configurations align with customer needs.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technical solutions that can be deployed to the Customer base.
- Provide high level technical support during the sales process, addressing customer concerns and questions.
- Work with a sense of urgency to meet agreed timescales and to drive the relevant teams to a successful outcome.
- Act as an advisor to the customer to recommend a solutions architecture that fits their business challenges.
- Build and manage domain-specific, impressive demonstrations that effectively drive interest in new clients as well as in existing ones to broaden their usage of our clients’ solutions.

- Confidence in delivering engaging software demonstrations.

- Relevant industry and software knowledge.
- Ability to understand client’s environments and recommend appropriate technology.
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
- Full-clean drivers’ license.
Knowledge and Experience
- 5 years + experience in a similar pre-sales engineering role.
- Proven Sales demonstration experience
- Proven track record of achieving targets in a competitive environment.
- Experience in ERP software applications.
- Willingness to travel as needed
