We are seeking an extraordinary individual to join our sales team as an Account Manager – responsible for the continued success and growth of the US Air Force, US Space Force, and DoD Combatant Commands. This individual will be deployed as a Business Development resource in service of an already established and thriving territory – responsible for influencing and executing a strategy to develop and strengthen customer relationships, source opportunities, build pipeline, and close revenue in a team environment. These opportunities may come as a result of expansion of existing deployments, cross-selling complimentary technologies, or the introduction of new/emerging tech that supports the customer’s mission.
They will play a key role driving a significant share of revenue for Blackwood. Are you up for the challenge?

What We're Looking For – Someone who thinks the following is a cake walk:
- Learn, Learn, Learn – Become fluent in Blackwood’s Cybersecurity practice areas, our technology portfolio, the customer’s mission/objectives, etc.
- Manage, maintain, and grow a defined sales territory
- Support the development and execution of strategic capture plans for each major customer with support of their Regional Director
- Work in concert with sales operations, PMO, and Engineering teams to develop and drive opportunities
- Customer satisfaction focused style with an emphasis on landing and expanding within the territory
- Provide timely and accurate forecast updates and execute aggregate plans that deliver target revenue and bookings
- Build / Strengthen / Manage Partner (OEM) Relationships
- Meet/Exceed Quarterly Linearity and Annual Goals
- Demonstrate fluency in the operational elements of the sales process, i.e. CRM, Quoting, Order Processing, etc….
- Comfortable operating in a hands-off management structure
- Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Blackwood’s Core Values and reputation – generating a positive image of our organization to the market
Basic Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Willingness to permit a Background Check
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Reputation of operating with strong ethics and integrity
- History of being overwhelmingly likable (duds need not apply)
- Desire and ability to learn new COTS Technologies
- Excellent Presentation and Written Communication Skills
- Strong Time Management Skills
- Passion to Hustle and Have fun
Additional Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in B2B Sales
- Prior Experience selling Information Technology Products and/or Services
- Proven Track Record of Quota Attainment
- Experience leading and closing enterprise deals - Federal Systems Integrators or Federal Government Customers experience is preferred
- Familiarity/Background with target accounts preferred
