Role Summary
As the Manager, Sales Operations, you will own and drive strategic priorities that will transform the way we enable our business development teams. You will be leading a team of data-driven project managers who are focused on providing our business development teams with a consistent inflow of high value opportunities.
You will be the main point of contact for the team with various areas of the business to determine the viability of various prospect sources and process improvements. You will strongly influence, drive, and impact the results of the Staples B2B business development sales organizations. You will be dedicated to reimagining our existing processes, identifying challenges and roadblocks, and strategically determining the best avenue for team success.
You will be hyper focused on building exceptional experiences for our sellers and will ensure our solutions are designed to meet the needs of our internal customers. You will build and leverage reporting to identify opportunity areas and partner closely with our sales leadership teams to drive sales growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner across Sales Leadership, and other key stakeholders to lead the strategic build of the Key Performance Indicator program.
- Work together closely with Sales and Sales effectiveness teams for gathering KPI program business requirements, aligning requirements to the sales process and evaluating effectiveness of KPI selections against expected selling outcomes.
- Interact with Sales VPs, Effectiveness, and Front Line Managers to develop and support coaching reports.
- Maintain KPI program reporting environment within PowerBI and continually seek new toolsets available to improve KPI program.
- Ensure KPI (and associated) reporting, analytics, and final deliverables are accurately completed, thoroughly vetted/validated, and approved according to established schedules and processes.
- Develop and enhance training materials and additional resources for the field to provide a comprehensive understanding of how their KPI program operates and is reported.
- Proactively identify areas in need of improvement; partner with stakeholders to craft resolutions, new processes, and impactful updates; and be accountable to develop and carry out long-term action plans.
- Participate in establishing and documenting best practices, templates, policies, and tools to promote greater consistency and expand and scale Staples capabilities.

Qualifications:
What’s needed- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, and/or operations
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales effectiveness, program development, and build, analytics, and finance
What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Anaplan and Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- SQL Database (snowflake) management, Alteryx, Power BI, Access DB, SFDC backend
