POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key contributor to financing and credit, the Account Manager will use his or her talent and creativity to make a real impact on the success of Canadian entrepreneurs. He or she will leverage his or her relational strengths and network of contacts by identifying opportunities to accelerate the growth of Canadian entrepreneurs and by developing business opportunities, both in financing and consulting. CHALLENGES TO BE MET
In a typical week, you should:
- You will build ongoing relationships with entrepreneur.es, client.es and prospects issu.es the region, and you will discuss the particularities of their business with them in order to diagnose the issues, provide them with advice and identify, if necessary, a BDC service offer appropriate to their business needs
- You will connect with local business professionals and the wider business community in order to build business relationships and gain referrals that lead to new opportunities.
- You will work with your teammates to meet and exceed overall targets related to new client acquisition, deal volume, advisory deliveries, portfolio growth, and other metrics.
- You will analyze, negotiate and present high-quality loan proposals using sound credit judgment;
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a field deemed equivalent?
- Do you hold a professional accounting designation? If so, this is an asset.
- Do you have good financial analysis skills?
- Are you passionate about entrepreneurship and do you have 2 years or more of experience in a similar role, in customer relations as well as good knowledge of the business community in your region?
- Are you known for your canvassing, your listening skills and you have a sixth sense that allows you to identify the issues and business needs of entrepreneur.es?
- Do your client.es and business relationships remember you for the accuracy of your advice, your proactivity, and your unparalleled customer service?
- Are you a team player and build effective and lasting relationships with your peers as well as with business contacts and external partners?
- Bilingualism in English and French is also an asset.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
