If you have collections experience and are looking for an opportunity to work remotely, Phoenix Financial Services is hiring our next virtual class starting on May20th, 2024!

As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing overdue accounts while maintaining a customer-first mentality. Your primary objective will be to effectively communicate with customers and resolve outstanding balances by negotiating payment arrangements. Compensation

Base pay is one part of the Compensation Package. In addition to base pay, Collectors also earn commission for account reconciliation.

Base Pay Range: $15/hr - $18/hr

Commission:

  • Uncapped earning opportunity
  • $1,000 per month meeting monthly revenue targets.
  • $4,000+ per month earned by top performers.

JobResponsibilities

  • Execute collections strategies in line with company policies and goals.
  • Oversee high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls.
  • Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with customers.
  • Document all interactions and payment agreements accurately in our database.
  • Monitor payment statuses and follow up with customers on past due payments.
  • Resolve payment discrepancies and address customer inquiries regarding billing and collections.
  • Escalate potential risks associated with specific account to management.
  • Always adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure State and Federal Laws are adhered to.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Prior collections or sales experience.
  • Negotiation and/or objection handling background.
  • Ability to work in fast paced dynamin environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic MS Office aptitude: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Teams.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Distraction free quiet and private workspace.
  • High speed internet with sufficient speed (60Mbps Download Speed) to support video/web/audio and VoIP.
  • Hotspots are not supported.
  • Meet technical requirements prior to the first day of training.
  • Must reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas region.
  • Once a month in person team meetings in Dallas, TX office.
  • We will provide you with the equipment to be successful.

Available Shifts

  • 7:00am – 4:00pm (CST)
  • 10:00am – 7:00pm (CST)

Training

  • May 20th – May 31st (Off Memorial Day)
  • Onsite training
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm (CST)
