Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for spearheading sales growth and broadening market reach in the Northeast Region of the United States. This multi-faceted role encompasses leadership in sales, management, and administrative functions, with a focus on contributing to the formulation of the annual budget.

Major Duties:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and brokers, serving as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries and account management.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for product innovation and business expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and Operations to execute integrated sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to sales operations, including report generation, data analysis, and documentation management.
  • Contribute to the formulation of an annual budget, providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on market dynamics and growth opportunities.
  • Represent Duraflame at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, showcasing our products and capabilities.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision making and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, working knowledge of ERP forecasting/planning systems.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Northeast Region as needed.

Duraflame offers a full suite of benefits on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. This position may be located in Maine, Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania with travel expected throughout the region as needed.
