Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for managing full strategic sales and business development of National and large Key Accounts based within the Western Region (CA, WA, CO, NV, AZ, UT) of the United States. Primarily responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, in addition to seeking new prospective custom sales opportunities in an effort to increase annual sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully manages accounts to achieve growth, hits sales targets, and meets overall annual budgeting requirements for territory
  • Builds direct relationships with National and Key Account customers at all levels and departments
  • Collaborates with customers and internal teams to produce high quality, customized packaging solutions based on the customer needs
  • Successfully manages new and existing accounts to achieve growth, hit sales targets, and meet overall annual budgeting requirements for territory
  • Participates in the development and implementation of a strategic business account plan for territory sales that aligns with SCT’s overall business strategy
  • Participates and leads sales presentations at customer events and industry tradeshows
  • Utilizes sales reporting tools to assist in development of realistic forecasts for production planning purposes
  • Leads conversations to educate existing or potential customers on our product lines to acquire and grow new business
  • Evaluate and submit pricing on product assortment to reflect market trends, customer needs and business climate shifts.
  • Reinforces positive relationships with prospective and existing customers through face-to-face meetings, events, and frequent communications
  • Remains current with product and industry marketing trends
  • Resolves escalated customer issues and complaints regarding sales and service in a way that honors the customer and aligns with SCT’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Sets a good example, acting in accordance to company culture and values, prioritize effectively, use good communication, and deliver results efficiently
  • Manages territory National & large Key Accounts to develop and grow sales volume
  • Meets sales directives and targets accounts for territory
  • Leads sales presentations and tradeshows to promote SCT products
  • Provides superior service to external and internal customers
  • Assists with development of contracts and agreements for customers
  • Seeks resolution and responds promptly to any product or service related issues
  • Submits quarterly plans, weekly itineraries, and expense reports
  • Maintains a deep understanding of customer needs and monitors their preferences
  • Maintains strong work ethic with an understanding of and adherence to SCT’s core values in all business decisions and interactions
  • Maintains company vehicle, if provided, communicate any maintenance needs, and have performed when necessary
  • Follows all company policies and procedures
  • Projects positive company image by interacting with fellow Team Members, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; displays professional attitude; complies with company dress code
  • Effectively and accurately cascades and communicates company information to Account Managers ensuring important information is provided and understood
  • Cascades and communicates with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Documents assigned tasks as required
  • Performs work according to supervisor's directives when requested
  • Ensures a clean workplace daily
  • Performs other duties as assigned
