Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Manager at Parks Motor Group - Tampa Bay will be responsible for managing sales operations and achieving sales targets for our Lincoln dealership located in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role will involve overseeing a team of sales representatives and providing training, coaching, and support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in meeting sales goals.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, base plus commission sales job in the auto industry with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Sales Manager will also receive commission on sales in addition to their base salary, providing an opportunity for substantial earnings.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily operations of the sales department, including setting sales quotas, monitoring performance, and developing strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Hire, train, and motivate the sales team to ensure they are meeting or exceeding sales targets and providing exceptional customer service
  • Create and implement sales programs to attract new customers and retain existing ones
  • Develop relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals
  • Work closely with the finance department to secure financing for customers and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering vehicles to ensure a diverse selection for customers
  • Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends to inform sales strategies and adjust as needed
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate goals, achievements, and areas for improvement
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as service and parts, to ensure a seamless customer experience

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
