Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative (100% In-Person) Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
  • Handles customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature or forwards such inquiries to the appropriate resource.
  • Maintains professional and courteous customer contact.
  • Exhibits high understanding of SLIPNOT’s products and applications – training to be provided.
  • Communicates with customers via phone, email, or fax.
  • Reviews RFQs and prepares quotations, proposals, job pricing.
  • Obtains credit or legal approval as necessary.
  • Coordinates job startups and maintains communication with customers regarding scheduling for the start-up and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed.
  • Maintains customer information and sales tracking in ERP software (Salesforce or Business Central).
  • Ability to work regularly and dependably.
  • Ability to function in a team environment.
  • Must be able to utilize good time management while working on several different projects at the same time.
  • Coordinates with vendors to obtain pricing and lead-time information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce strongly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus
  • Two years of customer service experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks a plus
