Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE:Oversees general management of all Consumer Banking branches for Central Bank of Boone County & Central Bank of Audrain County. This includes sales, service, and operations of the division to promote overall growth and profitability of the market. Provides Consumer Banking leadership within the organization and will be responsible for management and oversite, setting procedure, training, and staffing and personnel.
DUTIES, SCOPE, RESPONSIBLIITIES & AUTHORITY:
Responsible for all consumer banking sales, service, and operations for the branch network of Central Bank of Boone County & Central Bank of Audrain County. Direct reports include Regional Sales Managers and Operations Officer. Regional Managers and Branches also report indirectly. Must use strong knowledge in the banking field and the ability to think strategically to support the growth and profitability of the market. Requires complete knowledge of all retail products and services, management and leadership techniques, sales training skills, loss mitigation, and data analysis. Responsible for effectively communicating with all positions in the market and relaying information to both staff and executive management. Interacts with company and other market personnel. Utilizes problem solving and creativity for issue resolution which meets the expectations of the legendary service standards. Ensures success of the Consumer Banking division by providing strong leadership, communication, and feedback. Directs staff and management in utilizing employment policies and practices and documenting work expectations and results. Works on special projects including departmental strategic planning, company committees, and establishing policy and procedures. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for Consumer Banking staff consisting of Regional Sales Manager and Operations Officer directly. Indirect reports include Regional Managers, Branch Managers, and over 130 staff in positions supporting the consumer banking network in sales and operations.Interacts with other bank employees to complete customer and employee requests. Provides Legendary Service to customers, and coworkers, while establishing strong relationships. Provides a model of accuracy, service, teamwork, collaboration, sales, and efficiency for others.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or similar study required. Must have at least five years of successful sales management experience which includes directing and managing mid-level sales managers. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Must have good planning, decision making, and organizational skills. Must be able to interact well with executive management, peers, and employees. Previous banking experience strongly preferred.
