Overview
:Direct operations of Rental Services sales department; preside over market and customer growth by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.

:- Develops and implements both short-term and long-term rental sales strategies to ensure market share, account growth/retention, time utilization, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals are met and/or exceeded.
- Directs activities of the rental sales team to align with company and departmental goals and objectives. Supports branch managers in the day to day management and development of the territory rental sales reps.
- Works with the Rental Services management team to promote alignment and teamwork across all stores and areas of responsibility i.e. rental sales, fleet management, logistics, customer & employee satisfaction,
- Responsible for development and implementation of rental sales training programs.
- Conducts regular ride alongs, sales blitzes and customer visits with rental sales team.
- Monitors sales metrics, objectives and performance; and provides necessary reporting and feedback to both the sales team and company management.
- Collaborates with marketing department and rental sales team on campaigns, promotions, contests, etc., to drive customer growth and market share.
- Drives accountability for call reporting, customer management, and PAR setting in the CRM system.
- Demonstrates and leads alignment with Company Values, Vision, Purpose, and Goals. Actively supports Company’s strategic initiatives
- Collaborates with all Quinn Company divisions to leverage opportunities, create value propositions, and increase teamwork between departments.
- Manages and directs participation in trade organizations, industry associations, and events.
- Prepares and delivers presentations as needed to customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Provide oversight to budget and management of sales force F&E.
- Uses industry data and analytics to review marketplace trends and opportunities.
- Provides recommendations and inputs on fleet needs, rental rate structures, marketing, coverage, and resources to meet market demand.
- Reviews and approves sales commissions.
- Directly manages Key Accounts Managers and Coordinators.
- Provide support with governmental and major contract bidding.
- Support sales team with customer satisfaction initiatives and customer dispute resolution.
- Leads a “Safety First” culture at all times.
- Position requires daily and/or overnight travel up to 50% plus of the time.
- Sales Manager is lead contact for Caterpillar National Account Program.
Qualifications
:Bachelor's degree from accredited university and (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment and rental industry. This position is located in Southern California. Ideal candidate must live within commuting distance to our main stores.
