About This Role:
Fireye is seeking to hire a Global Sales Director to lead Fireye’s global sales team, including all Key Account Managers and the Senior Regional Sales Managers. The Global Sales Director will be responsible for all sales activities for the Fireye sales team, to include sales strategy, lead tracking/sharing, VOC coordination, lead generation, deal negotiations, and the achievement of Fireye’s sales targets. This individual will work closely with all the functional managers of the Fireye ELT, to include Product Marketing, Customer and Technical Support, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes and maintains lead tracking operating system, monitoring and developing an active sales pipeline. This pipeline needs to be continuously updated on a monthly basis for both sales forecasting and supply chain forecasting.
- Conducts performance reviews of the Regional Sales Managers, in addition to providing direct feedback on all the Key Account Managers on the team
- Develops sales strategy for each region and vertical
- Works closely with Product Marketing to provide continuous input to Fireye’s NPD pipeline and prioritization efforts.
- Coaches, teaches, and mentors Regional Sales Managers and Key Account Managers to drive optimal performance and motivation.
- Review and approve the annual Sales Incentive Bonus Plan for all RSMs and KAMs.
- Review and approve quarterly SIP payouts for all RSMs and KAMs in a timely manner.
- Ensure KAMs are properly trained in the appropriate product lines and go to market strategies for their regions/verticals..
- As a member of Fireye’s Executive Leadership Team, attend regular staff and ELT meetings, representing both the sales team and the customers.
- Perform all other duties as required.
Skills:
- The ability to communicate with executive leadership of Fireye, Spectrum Safety Solutions, and Sentinel Capital Partners is critical. The ability to present clearly and effectively, while maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders, employees, and customers.
- Knowledge of sales tracking software and CRM systems required. Experience in establishing new sales tracking systems and CRM systems preferred.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to deal with people in a positive upbeat manner.
- Confidentiality and trustworthiness a must.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelors degree in business, or engineering preferred.
- Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
- Ten years of experience of Sales experience in a highly technical, regulated industry is required. FIve years experience in managing globally distributed sales team is required. Experience in the combustion controls experience is preferred.
