Branches Account Manager

Position Purpose and Summary
The Branches Account Manager will coordinate and supervise all aspects of TWU GLOBAL’s account services across different locations and programs. The position will supervise the processing of payables and timely collection of receivables. This position will work closely with the Executive Director of Branches to ensure accurate reporting of TWU GLOBAL revenues, enrolment, registration, and student finances.
Key Areas of Accountability
Student Accounts Management (account receivables):
- Manage and standardize student finance services across locations and programs
- Supervise student account charges, tuition & fees payment processes
- Coordinate student payments and collections across locations and programs
- Approves payment plans, as required and processes student refunds
- Provides reports on TWU GLOBAL enrolment and student tuition revenues
Vendor and Partner Payments (account payables):
- Manage and standardize vendor and partner payments across locations and programs
- Supervise the collation and verification of invoices, expenses and requisitions for goods /services
- Verify, audit and reconcile agent commissions and other payables including the assigning of appropriate GLs
- Maintain valid up-to-date vendor and partner/agent contracts and related files
- Ensure that the university’s financial policies and procedures are adopted and fully executed for all GLOBAL payables
Other Management Responsibilities
- Review and delegate appropriate work to Branch Account Coordinators ensuring that Branch Account Coordinators are mentored and fully supported
- Monitor and provide troubleshooting A/R & A/P related issues and concerns
- Ensure that month-end activities and deadlines are met 5
- Support the Executive Director-Branches in the preparation of annual budgets, as necessary

- Strong ability to trouble-shoot
- Strong communications, administrative abilities and organizational skills
- Demonstrates a high level of accuracy
- Is a team-player; warm/engaging personality with a good sense of marketing and customer service
- Has strong computer skills and adapts quickly and easily to several software
- Must be flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing schedule; able to multi-task and work on several projects at once, without losing sight of the big picture. Is able to complete projects with minimal supervision
- Able to work well under stress during peak periods.

Standards & Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree would be an added advantage
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have an outstanding record of successfully leading a team to achieve growth goals in online higher education.
