Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Regional Sales Manager, that will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities within the oil, gas, and energy sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of our products and the market, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to work effectively within a highly technical and competitive environment. This person will strengthen our market presence and increase sales of Fire and Gas Detection systems in the North Texas region by leveraging key industry relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and enhancing our service offerings. We are seeking an experienced professional who can lead our sales strategy and efforts.
This opportunity is for a Regional Sales Manager covering West Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas ideally based out of Midland/Odessa, Texas, but can be based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for the region
- Use demo kits to massive demonstration of our products
- Massive visits to EPC, End Users, Partners.
- Identify and target potential clients in the oil, gas, and energy sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in corporations, EPCs, and engineering offices
- Achieve sales targets and grow market share in the region
- Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide reports and business review regularly

Required Qualifications:

Industry Experience:
- 5-10 years of sales experience in the oil, gas, and energy sectors, ideally with a background in (And/Or) instrumentation, safety systems, fire and gas detection, automation, or related fields
- Familiarity with the industrial landscape of West Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, with a robust network of contacts within key corporations, EPCs, and engineering firms

Technical Knowledge:
- Understanding of fire and gas detection technologies, industrial safety systems, and communication protocols such as HART Protocol, Modbus, Ethernet IP
- Experience with instrumentation wiring, connections, and/or automation systems integration
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical details to diverse audiences.

Sales Expertise:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B and B2C environment
- Experience with complex sales cycles, including managing large accounts, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals

Strategic Thinking:
- Ability to develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company goals
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and adjusting strategies as needed

Location and Mobility:
- Ideally based in Midland/Odessa or alternatively West Texas, Oklahoma City or Tulsa, with extensive travel within the region
- Ability to visit Houston office on an as needed basis
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate may have experience with companies such as Yokogawa, Emerson, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Endress+Hauser (E&H), ABB, or other competitors in the safety systems industry like MSA, Drager.
