Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic industrial distribution team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding support to our customers, ensure prompt and accurate service, and drive sales growth. You will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, processing orders, and working collaboratively with the outside sales and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing product information and resolving issues promptly.
- Proactively engage with existing and potential customers to promote products and generate sales.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.

Order Management:
- Accurately process quotes, orders, and returns using the company's ERP system.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate customer records and manage order documentation.
- Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to ensure seamless customer support and maximize business opportunities.
- Product & Market Knowledge:
- Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and competitors to offer relevant solutions.
- Participate in training sessions to keep updated on product lines and sales techniques.
- Problem Solving & Support:
- Assist in handling customer complaints, escalating issues as necessary to achieve resolution.
- Provide backup support for other team members as needed to maintain high levels of customer service.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or related field, preferably in industrial distribution.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM/ERP systems is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with industrial products, such as mechanical, electrical, or construction supplies, is a plus.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical product specifications with customers.

Salary Range:
$19-$20 per hour
