Exciting opportunity to take a leadership position in the telecom industry, aligning with AT&T's strategic production focused initiatives. Working with Spirent's top customer, AT&T, in their environment to understand their current and future plans. Leveraging the broadest, most advanced and heavily vested solution set in the industry will enable the right candidate to drive thought leadership on their way to becoming a trusted advisor.

The right candidate will have a deep history with AT&T's mobile core initiatives and have a natural sense of urgency about their business. A person who has successfully driven a vision for, and managed, transformational business change inside of AT&T. A self-starter, who understands the business drivers behind the technologies that are impacting our industry and enjoys leveraging those business advancements to uniquely position themselves, strategically, within their accounts.

You naturally leverage and expand on existing relationships to identify the various fields of play and the customer organizations that will deliver on those projects. Having a knack for clarifying priorities with the customer groups, and, communicating those clearly back to your internal teams are table stakes; a critical element of what has made you successful in the past. You work best as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required or equivalent work experience. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Technical aptitude and background are a major plus as it will be helpful to drive success in this role.
  • 8yrs+ of experience in selling in the Telecommunications sector, preferred experience selling to AT&T.
  • Previous experience working with AT&T 4G/5G Mobile Core Labs and Production Network teams is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must understand carrier networks, their processes, vendor ecosystem.
  • Proven success in making and exceeding sales targets.
  • Must have had success in complex sales situations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and can be counted on to finish their tasks and never let the ball drop on customer follow up.
  • Drive day to day tactical and long-term strategic views and opportunities.
  • History of working top down and bottom up within organizations to drive broad, impactful initiatives.
  • Azure cloud infrastructure knowledge (AON).
  • Knowledge of 4G and 5G mobile core.
  • Travel 25% of the time. Primary locations would be Dallas, Redmond, Atlanta, Middletown.

Annualized Salary Wage Range: $233,200 - $312,000

Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
