Outside Sales Representative
Do you have a proven track record of successful sales and a passion for customer service? We are seeking a motivated sales professional to maintain our large database of existing customers and cultivate new relationships in our industry. While not a must, if you have knowledge of the construction industry and/or HVAC industry, this may be beneficial. Being able to work independently is a must with access to support staff within the office. This position initially involves a base wage and is not solely commission based, however, over time the position becomes exclusively commission based. A top sales professional can expect to earn $100,000 to $130,000 by years end. Growth potential is great and with advent of additional service personnel annual earnings could exceed $140,000 - $170,000.
Duties:
- Travels to customer sites, conduct site surveys, create proposal as needed and follow up with customer to close sale
- Identify new potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Present and demonstrate products or services to customers
- Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Negotiate sales contracts and terms with customers
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
Skills:
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of success - must have at least 5 years outside sales experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in account management and building customer relationships
- Technical sales knowledge and understanding of product features and benefits
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
Qualifications
- Five years minimum outside sales/estimating experience.
- Good communication skills
- Able to pass background check, simple physical and pre-employment drug screen
- Proficient using MS Office, Word, Excel
