The Role: We are seeking a world-class Sales Development Representative to join our team. You will be our first point of contact, building relationships with potential customers and supporting our go-to-market team throughout the sales cycle. SDRs play a dynamic and collaborative function by identifying accounts and their corresponding decision-makers in order to build out the top of the funnel for their Account Executive. This role is also responsible for building and executing multi-channel outbound campaigns to identify buyer needs and intent, and engage with buyer interest/decision-makers within accounts. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, highly motivated self-starter who is eager to build relationships and learn from others. This candidate should have experience running outbound campaigns by leveraging automation tools like Outreach or Salesloft. As a LearnPlatform Sales Development Representative (SDR), your critical work focuses on sales lead generation aligned with the regional strategy for your sales team. You creatively and confidently share product and service information with K12 Local Education Agency (LEA) prospects (Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, CTOs/CIOs, Directors of Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, etc.) and qualify leads for your inside and field teammates. You are highly organized and manage your time effectively. You spend significant time making phone calls, prospecting through email, social media, preparing lists and supporting campaigns and regional sales initiatives. Generating, qualifying and moving leads into the sales pipeline is your primary responsibility. As you speak with prospective customers you’re effective at identifying challenges and providing practical solutions to prospects, along with positive insights as a LearnPlatform product knowledge specialist. You have impeccable communication skills and are consistently focused on and motivated by lead generation and strategic outreach. It is preferable that you have some college education and experience in the business, communication or marketing fields, within technology verticals. The Role The Sales Development Representative role within the Corporate or Enterprise team is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities within target Enterprise, Commercial and upper Mid-Market accounts.
