Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented Sales Representative to join our team and drive new business. This role will focus on generating leads, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and presenting tailored design-build solutions that align with their project needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales, design, and construction, as well as a proven track record in sales. This is a 90 day contract position that has the potential to turn into a full time position here at Western Neon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.).
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Meet with potential clients to understand their signage needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare detailed proposals, including project scopes, timelines, and budgets, in collaboration with the design and project management teams.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to position the company as a leader in the design-build field.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the sign industry, construction, or related fields.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of design-build processes, construction methods, and project management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with clients and close sales.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions.
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Smartsheet).
- Knowledge of sign production processes and materials is a plus.
