Lead Network Solutions Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Network Lead well versed with Cisco products for a possible 3-5 year contract position on-site in Overland Park, Kansas. Direct-Hire/FTE is a possibility for this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of network protocols, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. This role requires effective communication and the capacity to mentor/lead a team while maintaining high standards of service. Must be willing to interview on-site at one of many client locations across the country.

• Min 15 yrs experience in operations working on Cisco products (Meraki)
• Switching – Hands on experience in configuring Nexus switches - Excellent knowledge on switching and routing.
• ACI – Hands on experience in configuring Cisco ACI.
• Thorough knowledge of Wireless, SD-WAN (Viptela), and Firewalls.
• Must have experience in leading project team
• Excellent knowledge in Routing protocols with excellent experience in issue troubleshooting strong communication skills
• Deploy configure network devices
• Update network diagrams for documentation of the existing network setup
• Conduct proactive analysis to identify areas of improvement
• SME level troubleshooting and issue resolution support
• Standardize configuration of the network devices
• Coordinate with OEM3rd party for connectivity and infrastructure issues as needed
• Plan schedule and implement network device software hardware upgrades and migrations
• Cloud network traffic manager profile management
• Cloud network gateway Vnet site VPN point site VPN express route subnet and public IP management
• IP reservations for internal and external
• Design implement maintain and troubleshoot a global ACI environment
• Implement and maintain a secure and high performance wireless network utilizing advanced Cisco wireless technologies
• Maintain a zero down ISE infrastructure with expert troubleshooting skills
• Implement advanced log analysis and correlation like Splunk to proactively identify and address network issues
• Manage design and troubleshoot the Infoblox DDI environment with advanced expertise
• Configure and manage load balancers
• Incident service catalog problem change management for network services
• Understanding and certifications for authentication protocols TACACS Radius
• Good understanding of change and Problem management process
• CCNA CCNP in RS Advanced knowledge of RS technology

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
