Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Learning and Development Facilitator will undertake a range of program research, facilitation, analysis, reporting, implementation, and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of programs in line with established project plans and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Support & Delivery:
· Lead and facilitate program sessions, workshops, and training events.
· Effectively, ensure all participants are engaged and objectives are met during program facilitation.
· Implement program curriculum or content in a manner that is accessible and conducive to learning, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of participants.
· Coordinate the development, monitoring, and reporting of program management systems to ensure the timely and accurate provision of programs and reports.
· Assist in the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation protocols to assess the quality and impact of various programs such as the Youth Skills Studio and other projects.
· Collaborate with professional development teams and client success teams to support partnership development, new project creation, and program expansions.
· Conduct research, copywriting, or administrative tasks as required to support program delivery.
· Serve in a supporting role for proposals, including pricing, coordinating, recruiting, and writing.
· Contribute to operational efficiency by ensuring efficient operations of programs and providing administrative support.
· Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for participants, encouraging active participation, discussion, and collaboration amongst individuals or groups.
Research:
· Analyze and research the region's political and economic landscape, identifying opportunities for programs and partners.
· Carry out market research including gap analyses and needs analyses to identify areas of potential new programs, services, or partnerships.
· Conduct research and make evidence-based recommendations for topics related to Civiconnect’s programs/projects, partnerships, and growth potential.
· Assist in program and project design processes through research and analysis.
· Disseminate the results of research and other activities including drafting reports, proposals, and presentations.
Partnership Development:
· Establish and maintain regular communication with project partners and other stakeholders as required.
· Work with collaborators to refine proposals, monitoring and evaluation plans, and project budgets.
· Maintain a high level of service to stakeholders by maintaining effective relationships.
Additional Duties:
· All other duties as required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Hybrid with frequent meetings through Microsoft Teams.
· In-person attendance may be required for various office functions.
· Onsite client meetings.
· Off-site external workshops.
PROGRAMS / SOFTWARE USED:
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office. (Please note, no prior experience is required and access to programs/software is provided by Civiconnect).
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Communication and presentation skills.
· Willingness to learn.
· Dedicated team player.
· Must respect the learning environment.
Please Note:No prior experience is required, however, knowledge of the following is beneficial.
· Experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer service
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field
· Passionate about using their analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions and improve relationships
· Previous teaching or facilitation experience.
· Analytical and process-oriented mindset
· Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment.
· Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Civiconnect receives government funding based on certain eligibility requirements. Please only apply if you meet the following criteria:
· Must be between 18-29 years of age
· Must be enrolled in part-time or full-time studies at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a co-op or internship.
· Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
· Must be able to work full-time for 14 weeks.
Must be a member of at least ONE of the following demographics:

You will need to provide certain administrative documents if offered employment including:
- Proof of ID (copy of Birth Certificate, Passport, Permanent Resident card).
- Proof of Enrollment letter from Registrar's office.
- Completed TD1 & TD1ON form.
- Direct deposit slip from a financial institution.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 weeks
Pay: $630.00 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
