Job Overview:
Our client wants to hire a licensed, motivated, and detail-oriented Personal Line Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of Personal insurance accounts.
Your mission will be to serve and grow the book of clients assigned to you by providing extraordinary service, educating the customer, identifying revenue growth opportunities, and generating referrals.
Account managers focus on growth within their current book of business while also backing up their co-workers.
Location:
This role can be Fully Remote, but the opportunity to work in the office environment is also an option. The office is located near Red Bank, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an average retention on the book of business of over 93%. This is based on the number of policies up for renewal in a given month vs. the number of cancelled policies processed that month. The average of any 90-day period should be greater than 93%.
- Generating additional revenue on the book of business through increased coverage, account rounding, adding policy features, and generating referrals for new business.
- Conducting account reviews on standard business
- Provide outstanding inbound service on claims, billing questions, and endorsements
- Transfer non-license work to the Account Tech
- If licensed, you must work on rotation on Saturdays.
- Work to support the marketing and branding team in the following ways:
- Other responsibilities as directed by your manager
Requirements:
- Licensed with 2+ years of proven experience in sales or customer service within the insurance industry or a related field.
- Familar with New Jersey P&C insurance. Ideally, Licensed in NJ as well.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to analyze client needs and market conditions effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Spanish or other languages being a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools for account management.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
