Food manufacturing company in Vernon is need of a Director of Sales
Job Duties:
- Secure new business to drive profitable Sales Growth and achievement of aggressive growth goals.
- Leverages an already strong understanding of fresh and frozen meat to enable immediate impact by finding great mutual fit opportunities and then articulating our value proposition.
- Establishes and implements strategic plan direction for the strategic accounts. Develops and executes Sales/Ops plan pertaining to volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Champions procedures to continuously improve the accuracy of the Demand Plan forecast.
- Manages and upgrades the mix and price for which products are sold.
- Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, QA, Supply Chain & Executive Management to ensure effective communication and problem solving; must work in coordination with all stakeholders for optimal outcomes for the Company and the customers. In-person selling to customer headquarters and regional decision makers, alike,
- Must be capable of selling on value (vs price).
- Must work collaboratively with our broker partners (where applicable).

Requirements:
- Resume
- Minimum of 7 years of Retail Selling Experience, with demonstrated track record of selling success
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the fresh meat space selling to Retailers in the Western US
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree
