Inside Sales – Irrigation Expert

Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Inside Sales - Irrigation Expert for our Chilliwack location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude. We welcome qualified international applicants that can effectively communicate (written and oral) in English, however this is not a remote work position.

Job Title: Inside Sales – Irrigation Expert

Rate of pay: $30-$35/hr plus benefits (depending on technical knowledge and experience)

Job purpose: This position’s primary responsibility is to increase sales and profitability by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers primarily through phone and email.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized attention to each customer, providing the best in quality service and value.
• Take ownership of key accounts with face-to-face interactions, company swag, showing interest in their projects, etc
• Answer customer inquiries via phone and email and process sales orders.
• Work effectively within customer relationship management (CRM) software (creating leads, following up on leads, turning leads into orders, following up on purchases)
• Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; reporting details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes in CRM software for sales lead review.
• Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars, pursue industry certifications when training and testing is available
• Work with team mates to learn, mentor, and assist with workload
