Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry into our propietary software, interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing reports to support decision-making processes. This role requires proficiency in various data analysis tools and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau to visualize data effectively.
  • Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant information for analysis.
  • Create detailed reports that summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions.
  • Design and implement database structures that support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Use programming languages such as Python for data manipulation and automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Manage projects related to data analysis initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Document processes and methodologies used in data analysis for future reference.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL for database querying and management.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python for data analysis tasks.
  • Knowledge of VBA for automating tasks within Excel or other applications is a plus.
  • Understanding of project management principles to oversee data-related projects efficiently.
  • Experience with Visio for creating process flow diagrams is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
