Job Highlights

  • Increase sales and profitability by broadening use of assigned product portfolio, gaining new accounts and building new markets. Manage sales with most profitable customers in the respective territory. Develop and implement lead generation strategies for building and maintaining a new customer sales funnel.
  • Assist AR team with past due payments
  • Conduct customer visits and document properly using CRM, negotiate commercial terms of business and provide technical insights.
  • Forecast sales, reconcile variances and achieve turnover budget.
  • Attend fairs, trade shows/society events, internal group meetings, etc.
  • Gather market intelligence as to what products are used in which applications, pricing of those products, and potential volumes required by potential customers. Work with multi-functional teams to represent the “voice of the customer” and/or customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Chemistry, or Engineering, or related experience
  • 3-5 years minimum chemical B2B sales experience
  • Willingness to travel 50 - 60% with overnight stays mostly domestic, on occasion internationally.
  • Relationship minded and focused on serving the customer as a top priority.
